kitchen clothes grew out of a love and passion for sewing gifts for two sister-in-law's friends.

kate and meredith loved sharing their handmade treasures as christmas, birthday and anniversary gifts.

as they began making more and more gifts, they slowly started creating more and more for their friends' and families' kitchens: pot holders, napkins and aprons, all packaged beautifully and given with a sought-after family recipe.

before long, family and friends were asking to buy gifts from kate and meredith for their family and friends, and the two decided they needed to officially go into business together.

kitchen clothes "opened" in 2008. each item is handmade with the utmost care and attention, beautiful, soft and quality fabrics, and aged skill. items are packaged gorgeously and shipped with thoughtfulness.
